I was fortunate enough to be invited back on True North to experience their “Adventures in Paradise” tour which started in Kavieng In Papua New Guinea and finished at Alatou.
It is an amazing journey which allowed us to interact with many villages that still had no resemblance of twenty first century life. It was like stepping back in time to another world. I was given the opportunity to film many of the children in these villages and I have put together a short collage of some of these.
It was an incredibly moving experience. The excitement on their faces at our arrival and the warmth shown to us was something I will remember for a long time.
The “True North” is the only adventure vessel which visits these areas and makes a logistical nightmare seem effortless. It was a trip of a lifetime and I hope to revisit this amazing country one day.
